Steering Pad Switch Circuit: Wiring Diagram

NOTE:
The vehicle is equipped with an SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) such as airbags. Before servicing (including removal or installation of parts), be sure to read the precautionary notice for the Supplemental Restraint System (See

- INSPECT RADIO RECEIVER
- Disconnect the radio receiver connector R4.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG: Go to step 2
OK: RETURN TO THE ORIGINAL INSPECTION FLOW BECAUSE THE CHECK RESULT IS NORMAL
- INSPECT STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the steering pad switch connector A.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG: REPLACE STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP.
- INSPECT SPIRAL CABLE
- Disconnect the steering pad switch and spiral cable connectors.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG: REPLACE SPIRAL CABLE
OK: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (SPIRAL CABLE - RADIO RECEIVER)
