Section 11 (Cooling): Radiator: Installation

  1. INSTALL FAN SHROUD SUB-ASSEMBLY (See  INSTALLATION   ) 
  2. INSTALL RADIATOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the 2 grommets to the radiator.
    2. Install the 2 radiator support brackets with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 13.5 N*m (138 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf) 

    3. Connect the cooling fan ECU connector.

    4. Install the outlet duct.

  3. CONNECT NO. 1 OIL COOLER OUTLET TUBE 
    1. Connect the outlet tube.

  4. CONNECT NO. 1 OIL COOLER INLET TUBE 
    1. Connect the inlet tube.

  5. CONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE 
    1. Connect the radiator hose.

  6. CONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE 
    1. Connect the radiator hose.
  7. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  8. INSTALL INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  9. INSTALL V-BANK COVER (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  10. INSTALL RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY (See  INSTALLATION   ) 
  11. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  12. ADD ENGINE COOLANT (See  COOLANT   ) 
  13. CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKS (See  COOLING SYSTEM   ) 
  14. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER 
  15. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  17. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
      NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
