Headlight Assembly: Disassembly

HINT:

  1. REMOVE DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT BULB 
    1. Turn the headlight socket cover in the direction of the arrow and pull it out toward the rear of the vehicle.

    2. Turn the bulb socket cover in the direction of the arrow and pull it out toward the rear of the vehicle.

    3. Release the lock of the set spring as shown in the illustration and remove the bulb.

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 HEADLIGHT BULB 
    1. Turn the bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow and pull it out toward the rear of the vehicle.

  3. REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB 
    1. Turn the bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow and pull it out toward the rear of the vehicle.

  4. REMOVE CLEARANCE LIGHT BULB 
    1. Turn the bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow and pull it out toward the rear of the vehicle.

  5. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR 
    1. Turn the headlight leveling motor in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to align the notches of the leveling motor and housing. Then partially pull out the motor.
    2. Push down the motor to detach it from the reflector claw.
    3. Remove the base packing from the leveling motor.
