DTC P2119: Throttle Actuator Control Throttle Body Range / Performance: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Trouble Code.
5. Read the DTCs.

   Result

   Display (DTC Output)	Proceed to
   P2119	A
   P2119 and other DTCs	B

   HINT: 

   If any DTCs other than P2119 are output, troubleshoot those DTCs first.

A: Go to next step 

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
5. Start the engine and allow the engine to idle for 15 seconds.
6. Fully depress and release the accelerator pedal quickly (to fully open and close the throttle valve.
7. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Trouble Code.
8. Read the DTCs.

   HINT: 

   The output voltage of the throttle position sensor can be checked during procedure "B" using the Techstream. Variations in the output voltage indicate that the throttle actuator is in operation. To check the output voltage using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Data List / Throttle Position No. 1.

   OK

   No DTC output.
