Customize Parameters

  1. CUSTOMIZING FUNCTION WITH THE TECHSTREAM (REFERENCE) 
    NOTE:
    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
    • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.
    • When troubleshooting a function, first male sure that the function is set to the default setting.
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus:
      1. Select: Customize Setting /
    5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
      ILLUMINATED ENTRY:

      Display Default Contents Setting
      Lighting Time 15s Function to change the lighting time after closing the door.
      (It will quickly fade out in case of turning the engine switch on (IG))
      7.5s / 15s / 30s
      I/L when ACC OFF ON Function to light the interior light when the engine switch is operated from on (IG or ACC) to off ON / OFF
      I/L ON W/Door Key Unlock ON Function to light the interior light, etc. when the door is unlocked with a transmitter, door key or door lock control switch. ON / OFF
      Room Light when Aprchd ON Dome light illumination (when approaching vehicle) ON / OFF
      Inside Foot Light ON Interior foot light illumination ON / OFF
      Center Console Spot Light ON Center console spot light ON / OFF
      Mirr-Foot-Lgt Approached ON Door mirror foot light (when approaching vehicle) ON / OFF
      Mirr-Foot-Lgt Unlocked ON Door mirror foot light (when unlocking doors) ON / OFF
      Mirr-Foot-Lgt w/Master SW ON Door mirror foot light (when manually unlocking doors) ON / OFF
      S-Belt-Bkl-Lgt/Door Open ON Seat belt buckle illumination (when door is open) ON / OFF
      S-Belt-Bkl-Lgt/ACC OFF ON Seat belt buckle illumination (when electrical accessories are OFF) ON / OFF
      Mirror Foot Light Time 15s Door mirror foot light illumination duration 0s / 7.5s / 15s / 30s
      Light Control ON Function to light up door inside handle light when the engine switch is on (IG) and shift position is not P ON / OFF
      LIGHT CONTROL:

      Display Default Contents Setting
      Disp Ex ON Sen NORMAL Changes brightness when lowering lights such as combination meter indicator light, A/C indicator light, and clock light. Refer to the illustration*2. LIGHT2 / LIGHT1 / NORMAL / DARK1 / DARK2
      Disp Ex OFF Sen NORMAL Changes brightness when canceling lowering lights such as combination meter indicator light, A/C indicator light, and clock light. Refer to the illustration*3. LIGHT2 / LIGHT1 / NORMAL / DARK1 / DARK2
      Light Auto OFF Delay 30s Function to keep on lighting the headlight for a certain period of time after closing all the doors with the engine switch turned from on (IG) to off under the condition that the light control switch is at HEAD or AUTO with the headlight ON OFF / 30s / 60s / 90s
      Sensitivity NORMAL Function to adjust the sensitivity of lighting illumination*1. Light2 / Light1 / Normal / Dark1 / Dark2
      DRL Function ON DRL control ON / OFF
      Automatic High Beam ON Automatic high beam system ON / OFF
      Lane CHG Flash CNT 3 times Lane change flasher system OFF / 3 times / 5 times / 7 times / 9 times / 11 times

      HINT: 

      The sensitivity adjustment may be difficult to confirm. Check by driving the customer's vehicle.

  2. Door linked map light and personal light illumination control 

    Mode 1: When door is opened, map light of opened door illuminates, or personal light illuminates

    Mode 2: When door is opened, all map lights and personal lights illuminate

    Mode 3: Map lights and personal lights are not linked to doors

    1. To change modes, press the map light assembly DOOR and ON switch simultaneously, and then turn the engine switch from off to on (IG). Each engine switch off to on (IG) operation will change the mode (Mode 1→Mode 2→Mode 3→Mode 1).

      HINT: 

      After changing modes, the map light responds by blinking as follows: Mode 1: once; Mode 2: twice; Mode 3: three times.
