Inspection Procedure

NOTE: When using the Techstream with the engine switch off to troubleshoot:
Connect the Techstream to the vehicle, and turn a courtesy switch on and off at 1.5 second intervals until communication between the Techstream and vehicle begins.

CLEAR DTC
1. Clear the DTC (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).

CHECK FOR DTC

Check for DTC (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).

Result:

RESULT REFERENCE

Result	Proceed to
DTC U0211, U0246, U1130* and U1131* are output	A
DTC U0211, U0246, U1130* or U1131* is output	B
No DTC is output	C
HINT: *: w/ Rear Climate Control Seat System

B: GO TO DTC CHART

C: USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING )

A: Go to next step

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER SEAT MODULE SWITCH - POSITION CONTROL ECU LH)

Disconnect the r2*1 or S15*2 module switch connectors.
HINT:

*1: except Ottoman

*2: for Ottoman
Disconnect the f25 ECU connector.

Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance

except Ottoman:

OK: REPLACE REAR POWER SEAT MODULE SWITCH (See REMOVAL )

CLEAR DTC
1. Reconnect the r2*1 or S15*2 module switch connectors.
  HINT:
  
  *1: except Ottoman
  
  *2: for Ottoman
2. Clear the DTC (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).

CHECK FOR DTC

Disconnect the f25 ECU connector.

Recheck for DTC (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).

Result:

DTC U0211 is output	B

2. Clear the DTC (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).

Disconnect the f25 ECU connector.

Recheck for DTC (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).

Disconnect the f8 ECU connector.

Recheck for DTC (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).

Recheck for DTC (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).
