  1. ARRANGEMENT OF MAYDAY ECU TERMINAL 
    TERMINAL DESCRIPTION CHART

    +B (R24-1) L Vehicle battery power supply
    SPO+ (R24-2) L Audio speaker output +

  2. CHECK MAYDAY ECU

    1. Disconnect the R24 and R23 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION CHART

      R24-12 (E) - Body ground BR - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      R24-1 (+B) - Body ground L - Body ground Vehicle battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      R24-14 (ACC) - Body ground LG - Body ground ACC power supply Engine switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V
      R24-13 (IG2) - Body ground GR - Body ground IG power supply Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      R24-10 (SPI+) - R24-12 (E) L - BR Sound signal Audio system is playing Waveform synchronized with sound is output
      R24-11 (SPI-) - R24-12 (E) LG - BR Sound signal Audio system is playing Waveform synchronized with sound is output
      R24-21 (HFOF) - R24-12 (E) O - BR Phone mute Engine switch on (IG) 3.3 to 5.0 V
      R24-22 (MUTE) - R24-12 (E) L - BR Radio mute Engine switch on (IG) Approx. 5 V
      R23-2 (BBI+) - R24-9 (BBI-) B - W Non-rechargeble back-up Always 9 to 16 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Disconnect the B telephone antenna (cellular phone) connector (color: blue) from the ECU.
    4. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

      B-1 (SIGNAL) - Body ground B - Body ground Telephone signal input/output Always Approx. 10 KΩ

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the antenna side.

  3. CHECK BUS BUFFER ECU

    1. Disconnect the L93 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION CHART

      Terminal No. (Symbols) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      L93-4 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      L93-3 (+B) - Body ground R - Body ground Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the L93 ECU connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      L93-5 (S1) - L93-4 (GND) L - W-B MPX line Always Pulse generation

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.
