DCM Data Signal Circuit between Navigation ECU and DCM: Procedure

  1. CHECK NO. 1 NAVIGATION WIRE 
    1. Disconnect the z11 DCM connector.

    2. Disconnect the z12 display and navigation module display connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      z11-1-1 (USB-) - z12-1-1 (USB-) Always Below 1 Ω
      z11-1-2 (USB+) - z12-1-2 (USB+) Always Below 1 Ω
      z11-1-3 (USBS) - z12-1-3 (USBS) Always Below 1 Ω
      z11-2 (USBG) - z12-2 (USBG) Always Below 1 Ω
      z11-3 (VOT+) - z12-7 (VOR+) Always Below 1 Ω
      z11-4 (USBV) - z12-4 (USBV) Always Below 1 Ω
      z11-5 (VOT-) - z12-6 (VOR-) Always Below 1 Ω
      z11-6 (VOR-) - z12-5 (VOT-) Always Below 1 Ω
      z11-7 (VOR+) - z12-3 (VOT+) Always Below 1 Ω
      z11-1-1 (USB-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      z11-1-2 (USB+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      z11-1-3 (USBS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      z11-2 (USBG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      z11-3 (VOT+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      z11-4 (USBV) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      z11-5 (VOT-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      z11-6 (VOR-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      z11-7 (VOR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      (to DCM (Telematics Transceiver))
      *2 Front view of wire harness connector
      (to Display and Navigation Module Display)

    NG → REPLACE NO. 1 NAVIGATION WIRE
