Rear Power Window LH Auto Up / Down Function does not Operate with Rear Power Window Switch LH: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Check for DTCs.
      RESULT:

      Result Proceed to
      DTC is not output A
      B2311 is output B
      B2312 is output C
      B2313 is output D
      LIN communication system DTC output reoccur E

    E → See step   9 

    D → See step   8 

    C → See step   7 

    B → See step   6 

    A: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK MANUAL UP / DOWN FUNCTION 
    1. Check that the manual UP/DOWN function using the power window regulator switch can operate the driver door power window.

      OK

      Manual UP/DOWN function operates normally.

    NG → See step   10 

    OK: Go to next step 

  3. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (REAR MOTOR LH) 
    1. Use the Data List to check if the power window regulator motor is functioning properly.
      RL-DOOR MOTOR:

      Tester Display Measurement Item/Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note
      RL Door P/W Auto SW Rear power window LH auto UP/DOWN switch signal / ON or OFF ON: Rear power window LH auto UP/DOWN switch operated
      OFF: Rear power window LH switch not operated
      -

      OK

      Tester display changes normally when rear power window switch LH is operated.

    NG → See step   4 

    OK → See step   12 

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR SWITCH LH - REAR MOTOR LH) 
    1. Disconnect the O18 switch connector.

    2. Disconnect the O19 motor connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      O18-4 (AUTO) - O19-4 (AUTO) Always Below 1 Ω
      O18-4 (AUTO) or O19-4 (AUTO) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go to next step 

  5. INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the switch. Refer to REMOVAL .
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      O18-4 (AUTO) - O18-5 (GND) AUTO UP/DOWN operation Below 1 Ω

    NG → See step   11 

    OK → See step   12 

  6. GO TO DTC B2311. Refer to  DTC B2311: Power Window Motor Malfunction  
  7. GO TO DTC B2312. Refer to  DTC B2312: Power Window Switch Malfunction  
  8. GO TO DTC B2313. Refer to  DTC B2313: Glass Position Initialization Incomplete  
  9. GO TO LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING 
  10. OTHER PROBLEM. Refer to  Rear Power Window LH does not Operate with Rear Power Window Switch LH  
  11. REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL 
  12. REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL
