Cruise Control Main Switch: Removal

REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL ).
REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH (See REMOVAL ).
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
NOTE:
- After the power switch is turned OFF, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch OFF, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (see INITIALIZATION ).
REMOVE SWITCH AND VOLUME CASE (See REMOVAL ).
REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER (See REMOVAL ).
REMOVE STEERING PAD (See REMOVAL ).
REMOVE CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH ASSEMBLY
1. Disconnect the connector and clamp.

2. Remove the 2 screws.

3. Remove the switch.
