Inspection Procedure

Refer to CAN communication system DTC U0122 (see DTC U0122 LOST COMMUNICATION WITH VEHICLE DYNAMICS CONTROL MODULE; DTC U0129 LOST COMMUNICATION WITH BRAKE SYSTEM CONTROL MODULE ).

CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
1. for Intelligent tester:
  1. Select "BUS CHECK" from the "OBD/MOBD MENU" (See CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM ).
  2. Press "ENTER" on the Intelligent tester (See CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM ).
2. for Techstream:
  1. Select "Bus Check" from the "System Select" (See CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM ).
  2. Select "Communication Malfunction DTC" from the "Bus Check" screen, and then select "Enter" (See CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM ).
OK: CAN communication system DTC is not output.

NG: 60 TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (See CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM ).

OK: USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING ).
