Inspection Procedure
- CHECK POWER DOOR LOCK OPERATION
- When the master switch's door control switch is operated, check that the locked doors unlock (see OPERATION CHECK
)
OK: Locked doors unlock.
NG: GO TO POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM
OK: Go to next Step
- When the master switch's door control switch is operated, check that the locked doors unlock (see OPERATION CHECK

- READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER OR TECHSTREAM (OUTSIDE HANDLE)
- Using the intelligent tester or Techstream, read the Data List (see DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST
)

Rear Right Door

OFF Rear side door outside handle lock switch RH is not pushed- OK: On tester screen, item changes between ON and OFF according to above chart.

NG: Go to step 4
OK: Go to next Step

- CHECK REAR DOOR ECU RH (OPERATION)
- Replace the rear door ECU RH with a new one or normally functioning one (see REAR DOOR )
- Check that the entry function operates normally (see OPERATION CHECK
).
OK: Operates normally
NG: REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU (See REMOVAL )
OK: END (REAR DOOR ECU RH IS DEFECTIVE)
- INSPECT REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE RH
- Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition c1-3 (TRG+) - c1-1 (TRG-) ON Below 1 Ω c1-3 (TRG+) - c1-1 (TRG-) OFF 10 kΩ or higher
NG: REPLACE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE RH (See REAR DOOR )
OK: Go to next Step
- Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR DOOR ECU RH - REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE RH)

- Disconnect the O3 ECU connector.
- Disconnect the c1 handle connector
- Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Condition Specified Condition O3-20 (TRG+) - c1-3 (TRG+) Always Below 1 Ω c1-3 (TRG+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next Step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DOOR ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR - REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE RH)

- Disconnect the c1 handle connector.
- Disconnect the c2 oscillator connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Condition Specified Condition c2-9 (TRG-) - c1-1 (TRG-) Always Below 1 Ω c1-1 (TRG-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next Step
- CHECK DOOR ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR (OPERATION)
- Replace the door electrical key oscillator with a new one or normally functioning one (see REAR DOOR ).
- Check that the entry function operates normally (see OPERATION CHECK
).
OK: Operates normally
NG: Go to step 8
OK: END (DOOR ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR IS DEFECTIVE)
- CHECK REAR DOOR ECU RH (OPERATION)
- Replace the rear door ECU RH with a new one or normally functioning one (see REAR DOOR )
- Check that the entry function operates normally (see OPERATION CHECK
)
OK: Operates normally
NG: REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU (See REMOVAL )
