Inspection Procedure

- CHECK FOR DTCS (DTC P0A1F-123 IS OUTPUT)
- Connect the intelligent tester or Techstream to the DLC3
- Turn the power switch on (IG)
- Select the following menu items.
- Intelligent tester-Select DIAGNOSIS/OBD/MOBD / HV ECU / DTC INFO / CURRENT CODES.
- Techstream - Select Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
- Check if DTCs are output

RESULT REFERENCEResult Proceed to P0A1F-123 is not output A DTC P0A1F-123 is also output. B
B: Go to DTC CHART (P0A1F-123) (See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART )

- CHECK BATTERY SMART UNIT
- Ensure the safety of the areas in front and at the back of the vehicle
- Connect the intelligent tester or Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (READY)
- Select the following menu items:
- Intelligent tester - Select. DIAGNOSIS / OBD/MOBD / HV ECU / DATA LIST / V1 to 20 BATT BLOCK.
- Techstream - Select. Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Data List / Battery Block Vol - V01 to V20
- Fully warm up the engine and turn the air conditioning off
- Firmly depress the brake pedal with your left foot
- Move the shift lever to the D position
- Record each battery block voltage in the data list ("Battery Block Vol - V01 to V20") while fully depressing the accelerator pedal
- Compare the battery block voltages ("Battery Block Vol - V01 to V20") between the even and odd number groups in each combination shown in the table belowVOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

- Difference in voltage of each combination may be 0 3 V or more due to a battery smart unit internal error
- Refer to the wiring diagram for DTC P0A80-123 (See DTC P0A80-123 REPLACE HYBRID BATTERY PACK ).
