Inspection Procedure

- INSPECT FUSE (ECU-IG NO. 2 OR H-LP LVL)
- Remove the ECU-IG No. 2 fuse or H-LP LVL fuse from the instrument panel junction block assembly.
- Measure the resistance of the fuse.
Standard resistance: Below 1 Ω
NG: REPLACE FUSE
OK: Go to next step.
- INSPECT AFS ECU
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage

OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
NG: Go to next step.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (AFS ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the A22 AFS ECU connector.
- Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
