DTC B2312: Power Window Switch Malfunction: Procedure
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (LIN COMMUNICATION)
- Disconnect the power window regulator master switch and power window ECU connectors.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition I5-16 (LIN2) - I4-9 (LIN) Always Below 1 Ω I5-17 (LIN1) - H5-9 (LIN) Always Below 1 Ω I5-17 (LIN1) - K3-9 (LIN) Always Below 1 Ω I5-17 (LIN1) - J3-9 (LIN) Always Below 1 Ω I5-16 (LIN2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher I5-17 (LIN1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT POWER WINDOW SWITCH
- Disconnect the power window switch connectors.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Front passenger and rear power window switch

NG → REPLACE POWER WINDOW SWITCH
OK: Go to next step

- Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.
