Steering Control Ecu: Installation: Installation

INSTALL STEERING CONTROL ECU
1. Install the steering control ECU with the 3 screws.

  HINT:
  - Align positioning boss (A) of the blower assembly with the hole of the steering control ECU.
  - Securely engage the hook (B) of the steering control ECU with the blower assembly.
2. Connect the 3 connectors to the steering control ECU.

INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY NO. 2 . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 9
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
PERFORM VARIABLE GEAR RATIO STEERING SYSTEM CALIBRATION
