Cold Start Injector: Installation: Installation

INSTALL COLD START INJECTOR
1. Install a new gasket to the intake air surge tank.

  HINT:
  
  Align the protrusion of the gasket on the intake air surge tank.
2. Install the cold start injector with the 2 bolts.

  Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf cm, 7 ft. lbf)
3. Install 2 new gaskets and the hose to the cold start injector with the bolt.

  Torque: 15 N.m (153 kgf cm, 11 ft. lbf)
  NOTE:
  - Be careful not to damage the gasket.
  - Do not fold or bend the hose.
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 93
INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK . Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION - Step 1
INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 115
