Installation (From 12/2010): Installation

  1. INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the 4 pins and install the steering pad switch assembly.
    2. Engage the clamp and Install the 2 screws.
    3. Connect the connector to the spiral cable.
  2. INSTALL STEERING PAD  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
  3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Some systems need initialization when disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal.

  4. PERFORM SYSTEM INITIALIZE  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 6
  5. INSPECT STEERING PAD  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 5
  6. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 7
