Inspection Procedure

NOTE:
  • The smart access system with push-button start (for entry function) uses a multiplex communication system (LIN communication system) and CAN communication system. Inspect the communication function by following How to Proceed with Troubleshooting. Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING . Troubleshoot the smart access system with push-button start (for entry function) after confirming that the communication system is functioning properly.
  • Before performing the inspection, check that DTC B1242 (wireless door lock control) is not output. Refer to DTC B1242: Wireless Door Lock Tuner Circuit Malfunction .
  • Confirm that another key is not in the cabin.
  • When all doors entry lock / unlock functions do not operate by only using the key (for card type), it supposes that the key (for card type) or key battery is malfunction. Refer to Problem Symptoms Table. Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE .
