DTC P0630: VIN not Programmed or Mismatch - ECM / PCM: Procedure

1. Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the Techstream on.
3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Trouble Codes.
4. Read the DTCs.

   Result

   Display (DTC Output)	Proceed to
   Only P0630	A
   P0630 and other DTCs	B

   NOTE:

   If P0630 is set, the VIN must be input to the ECM using Techstream. However, all DTCs are cleared automatically by the Techstream when inputting the VIN. If DTCs other than P0630 are set, check them first.

   HINT: 

   If any DTCs other than P0630 are output, troubleshoot those DTCs first.
