Front Speed Sensor: Installation: Installation
HINT:
- Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
- The front speed sensor is a component of the front axle hub sub-assembly. If the front speed sensor needs to be replaced, replace the front axle hub sub-assembly.
- If the sensor rotor needs to be replaced, replace it together with the front axle hub sub-assembly.
- INSTALL FRONT AXLE HUB SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Install the front axle hub sub-assembly. Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1

HINT:
- The front speed sensor is a component of the front axle hub sub-assembly. If the front speed sensor needs to be replaced, replace the front axle hub sub-assembly.

- Install the front axle hub sub-assembly. Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1

- INSPECT FRONT AXLE HUB BEARING LOOSENESS . Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION - Step 4
- INSPECT FRONT AXLE HUB RUNOUT . Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION - Step 5
- INSTALL FRONT DISC (for Opposed Type Caliper) . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
- INSTALL FRONT DISC (for Floating Type Caliper) . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
- INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY . Refer to REPLACEMENT - Step 7
- CONNECT FRONT SPEED SENSOR WIRE
- Connect the front speed sensor wire to the front speed sensor.NOTE:
Do not twist the front speed sensor wire.
- Connect the front speed sensor wire to the front speed sensor.
- INSTALL FRONT WHEEL
Torque: 103 N*m (1050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf)
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
- INSPECT SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL
