DTC B2288: Steering Lock Signal Circuit Malfunction: Description

This DTC is stored when the power source control ECU cannot detect the unlock condition of the steering lock within a specified time.

HINT: 

When the power source control ECU is replaced with a new one and the negative (-) battery terminal is connected, the power source mode becomes IG-ON mode. When the battery is removed and reinstalled, the power source mode that was selected when the battery was removed is restored.

B2288 After turning the engine switch from off to on (IG), the steering wheel does not unlock for a certain period of time (ECU unlocks steering wheel only when it receives an unlock signal from LIN communication and cable).
