DCM(Telematics Transceiver): Installation: Installation

INSTALL DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)
INSTALL NO. 1 TELEPHONE BRACKET
1. Install the No. 1 telephone bracket with the 2 screws.

INSTALL NO. 2 TELEPHONE BRACKET
1. Install the No. 2 telephone bracket with the 2 screws.

INSTALL DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) WITH BRACKET
1. Install the DCM (telematics transceiver) with bracket with the bolt and nut.

  Bolt
  
  Torque: 12 N*m (122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf)
2. Engage the clamp.

3. Connect each connector.
INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 15
INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 17
INSTALL SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL RH . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 18
INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH
HINT:

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side. Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 86 .
INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (w/o Illumination)
HINT:

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side. Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 88 .
INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (w/ Illumination)
HINT:

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side. Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 90 .
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
1. Inspect the SRS warning light. Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM .
DCM ACTIVATION
HINT:

When replacing the DCM (telematics transceiver), perform the vehicle contract setting. Refer to DCM ACTIVATION .
