Lin Communication System: Precaution: Precaution

  1. NOTICE FOR INITIALIZATION 

    When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, initialize the following systems after the cable is reconnected.

    System Name See procedure
    Advanced Parking Guidance System Refer to INITIALIZATION
    Power Trunk Lid System
    Rear Door Sunshade System
  2. PRECAUTIONS WHEN USING TECHSTREAM 
    1. When using the Techstream with the engine switch off to troubleshoot:

      Connect the Techstream to the vehicle, and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5 seconds intervals until communication between the Techstream and vehicle begins.

    2. After all DTCs are cleared, check if the trouble occurs again 6 seconds after the engine switch on (IG).
