Terminals Of Ecu [03/2012 - ]

  1. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the F58 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      F58-1 (+B) - Body ground LG - Body ground +B power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      F58-15 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      F58-17 (CUTB) - Body ground L - Body ground Dark current cut fuse pin input signal Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the F58 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage and check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) may have a malfunction.

  2. CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY, MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) 
    1. Disconnect the 2F, F14 and 2D junction block connectors.

    2. Disconnect the A main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
    3. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      A-32 (IG) - Body ground - Engine switch power supply Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      A-32 (IG) - Body ground - Engine switch power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness or instrument panel junction block assembly.

    4. Reconnect the 2F, F14 and 2D junction block connectors.
    5. Reconnect the A main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
    6. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) or instrument panel junction block assembly may have a malfunction.

  3. CHECK POWER BACK DOOR ECU (POWER BACK DOOR MOTOR UNIT) (w/ Power Back Door System) 
    1. Disconnect the P33 power back door ECU (power back door motor unit) connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      P33-10 (ECUB) - Body ground BR - Body ground Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      P33-8 (IG) - Body ground SB - Body ground IG power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V
      P33-11 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the P33 power back door ECU (power back door motor unit) connector.
    4. Initialize the power back door ECU (power back door motor unit). Refer to INITIALIZATION [03/2012 - ] .
    5. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      P33-20 (FUL) - Body ground P - Body ground Back door courtesy switch circuit Back door closed 11 to 14 V
      P33-20 (FUL) - Body ground P - Body ground Back door courtesy switch circuit Back door open Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the power back door ECU (power back door motor unit) may have a malfunction.

  4. COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the F15 and F16 combination meter assembly connectors.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      F15-16 (E2) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      F16-1 (IG+) - Body ground GR - Body ground Engine switch power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.
