Key-off Operation Function Operates even if Operating Conditions are not Satisfied [04/2013 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK MANUAL UP / DOWN FUNCTION 
    1. Check that the manual up and down function using the multiplex network master switch assembly, power window regulator switch assembly and rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH or RH door) can operate the power windows.

      Refer to OPERATION CHECK [04/2013 - ]

      OK

      Manual up and down function is normal.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    GO TO OTHER PROBLEM (Proceed to Problem Symptoms Table). Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [04/2013 - ] 

    Result: 

    OK

  2. CHECK REMOTE UP / DOWN FUNCTION 
    1. Check that the remote up and down function using the multiplex network master switch assembly can operate all the power windows.

      Refer to OPERATION CHECK [04/2013 - ]

      OK

      Remote up and down function is normal.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    GO TO OTHER PROBLEM (Proceed to Problem Symptoms Table). Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [04/2013 - ] 

    Result: 

    OK

  3. CHECK KEY-OFF OPERATION FUNCTION 
    1. Check the key-off operation function.

      Refer to OPERATION CHECK [04/2013 - ]

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      Power window can still be operated even after opening driver door or front passenger door within approximately 43 seconds of engine switch being turned off A
      Power window can still be operated even after approximately 43 seconds have elapsed after engine switch is turned off (for All Doors) B
      Power window can still be operated even after approximately 43 seconds have elapsed after engine switch is turned off (for Driver Door or Front Passenger Door) C
      Power window can still be operated even after approximately 43 seconds have elapsed after engine switch is turned off (for Rear LH Door or Rear RH Door) D

    Result: 

    REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU). Refer to  REMOVAL [04/2013 - ] 

    Result: 

    REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (FOR DRIVER DOOR OR FRONT PASSENGER DOOR). Refer to  REMOVAL [04/2013 - ] 

    Result: 

    REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (FOR REAR LH DOOR OR REAR RH DOOR). Refer to  REMOVAL [04/2013 - ] 

    Result:

  4. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (MAIN BODY) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.
    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

      Body Electrical > Main Body > Data List

      FR Door Courtesy SW Front door courtesy light switch assembly (for RH) signal OFF or ON OFF: Front door RH closed
      ON: Front door RH open

      Body Electrical > Main Body > Data List

      On the Techstream screen, ON or OFF is displayed accordingly.

    REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU). Refer to  REMOVAL [04/2013 - ]

    GO TO LIGHTING SYSTEM (Proceed to Front Door Courtesy Switch Circuit). Refer to  Front Door Courtesy Switch Circuit [04/2013 - ]
