If malfunction code is displayed during DTC check, check the circuit corresponding to the code in the table below. Proceed to service information given for the circuit.

MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (BEAN)

HINT:

If DTC B1214 or B1215 (+B or GND short malfunction of communication bus) is stored at the same time as DTC B1200, B1206, B1207, B1208, B1209, B1210, B1212, B1213, B1272, B1273, B1278, B1279, B1280, B1289 and B1296 (communication stop), perform troubleshooting for DTC B1214 or B1215 first.
If DTC B1266 or B1267 (+B or GND short malfunction of communication bus) is stored at the same time as DTC B1247, B1262, B1271 or B1297 (communication stop), perform troubleshooting for DTC B1266 or B1267 first.

*1: Although "Sliding Roof ECU Communication Stop" is displayed on the Techstream, this message is shown if the Gateway ECU cannot communicate with the metaltop control ECU (sliding roof control ECU assembly).
