DCM Data Signal Circuit between Navigation ECU and DCM [08/2013 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK NO. 1 NAVIGATION WIRE 
    1. Disconnect the J118 DCM (Telematics Transceiver) connector.

    2. Disconnect the J117 multi-media module receiver assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J118-1-1 (USB-) - J117-1-1 (USB-) Always Below 1 Ω
      J118-1-2 (USB+) - J117-1-2 (USB+) Always Below 1 Ω
      J118-1-3 (USBS) - J117-1-3 (USBS) Always Below 1 Ω
      J118-2 (USBG) - J117-2 (USBG) Always Below 1 Ω
      J118-3 (VOT+) - J117-7 (VOR+) Always Below 1 Ω
      J118-4 (USBV) - J117-4 (USBV) Always Below 1 Ω
      J118-5 (VOT-) - J117-6 (VOR-) Always Below 1 Ω
      J118-6 (VOR-) - J117-5 (VOT-) Always Below 1 Ω
      J118-7 (VOR+) - J117-3 (VOT+) Always Below 1 Ω
      J118-1-1 (USB-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J118-1-2 (USB+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J118-1-3 (USBS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J118-2 (USBG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J118-3 (VOT+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J118-4 (USBV) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J118-5 (VOT-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J118-6 (VOR-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J118-7 (VOR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      (to Multi-media Module Receiver Assembly)

    NG → REPLACE NO. 1 NAVIGATION WIRE
