DTC P0715: Input / Turbine Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction; DTC P0717: Input Speed Sensor Circuit No Signal [08/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Remove the valve body assembly.
2. Make sure that the connector is properly connected, and check the speed sensor installation. Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2014 - ] .

   OK

   The installation bolt is tightened properly and there is no clearance between the sensor and transaxle case.

NG → See step   6 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Remove the TCM.

2. Disconnect the speed sensor connector from the transmission wire.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   1 (NTB) sensor side - 1 (NTB) TCM side	Always	Below 1 Ω
   2 (NTO) sensor side - 2 (NTO) TCM side	Always	Below 1 Ω
   1 (NTB) sensor side - Body ground and other terminals	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   2 (NTO) sensor side - Body ground and other terminals	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NEXT: Go to next step 

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Start the engine and turn the Techstream on.
3. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2014 - ] .

   HINT: 

   Write down the currently output DTCs before clearing them.

4. Perform the monitor drive pattern. Refer to MONITOR DRIVE PATTERN [08/2014 - ] .
5. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / ECT / Trouble Codes.
6. Read the DTCs using the Techstream.

   Result
