Pre-collision System Cancel Switch Circuit [09/2014 - 10/2015]: Procedure

1. Use the Data List to check if the pre-collision system cancel switch assembly is functioning properly (Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).

PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE 

(Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [09/2014 - 10/2015] )

Result: 

NG 

See step  2

1. Remove the pre-collision system cancel switch assembly (Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   1 - 2	Pressed	Below 1 Ω
   	Not pressed	10 kΩ or higher

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM CANCEL SWITCH ASSEMBLY 

(Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - 10/2015] )

Result: 

OK 

See step  3

1. Disconnect the N15 pre-collision system cancel switch assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the N5 driving support ECU connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   N15-1 - N5-5 (PBSW)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   N15-2 - Body ground
   N15-1 - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU 

(Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - 10/2015] )

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
