Installation [04/2013 - 10/2017]: Procedure

- INSTALL ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR
HINT:
Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the engine coolant temperature sensor.
Refer to INITIALIZATION [04/2013 - 10/2017]
- Install a new gasket onto the engine coolant temperature sensor.
- Using a 19 mm ball joint lock nut wrench, install the engine coolant temperature sensor to the rear water by-pass joint.
Torque: 19.6 N*m (200 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf)
NOTE:Use the torque value compensation formula to calculate the torque value for use when a torque wrench is combined with a tool such as a ball joint lock nut wrench.
Refer to PRECAUTION [04/2013 - 08/2015] , or refer to PRECAUTION [08/2015 - 10/2016] , or refer to PRECAUTION [10/2016 - 10/2017]
- Connect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.
- CONNECT WATER BY-PASS HOSE
- Connect the water by-pass hose to the rear water by-pass joint and slide the clip to secure it.
- INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR

- PERFORM INITIALIZATION
- Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the engine coolant temperature sensor.
