Installation [08/2013 - ]

INSTALL INTAKE MANIFOLD
1. Install 2 new gaskets and the intake manifold with the 4 bolts and 4 nuts.

  Torque: 21 N*m (214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf)
INSTALL FUEL DELIVERY PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2013 - ] - Step 2

INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY

NOTE:

Do not apply oil to the bolts as listed below:

Tightening Parts
Intake air surge tank assembly and Intake manifold
Surge tank stay and Intake air surge tank assembly

Install a new gasket to the intake air surge tank assembly.

Install the intake air surge tank assembly with the 2 nuts.

TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

*2	Nut

Torque: 16 N*m (163 kgf*cm, 12 ft.*lbf)

Using a 5 mm hexagon socket wrench, install the 6 bolts.
Torque: 18 N*m (184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf)
Install the surge tank stay with the bolt.

Torque: 21 N*m (214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf)
Install the water hose joint with the bolt.

Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)
Connect the 4 wire harness clamps.

Connect the ventilation hose, union to check valve hose and water by-pass hose.

Install the No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly with the bolt.

Torque: 18 N*m (184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf)
Connect the 2 fuel vapor feed hoses and connector.

INSTALL THROTTLE BODY . Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2013 - ] - Step 1
INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE . Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2013 - ] - Step 2
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2013 - ] .
ADD ENGINE COOLANT . Refer to REPLACEMENT [08/2013 - ] - Step 6
INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK . Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [08/2013 - ] - Step 1
INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK . Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [08/2013 - ] - Step 1
INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2013 - ] - Step 79
INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Install the cowl top ventilator lover sub-assembly. Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2013 - ] .
