Terminals Of Ecu [10/2014 - ]

  1. CHECK OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU

    1. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbols) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      e10-5 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Occupant classification ECU ground line Always Below 1 Ω
      e10-6 (PS) - e10-15 (GPS) P - V Pressure sensor signal line Engine switch on (IG) Below 1 V
      e10-7 (VPS) - e10-5 (GND) R - W-B Pressure sensor +B line Engine switch on (IG) 4.75 to 5.25 V
      e10-8 (GBT) - e10-5 (GND) GR - W-B Belt tension sensor ground line Always Below 1 V
      e10-9 (IG) - e10-5 (GND) L - W-B Occupant classification ECU +B line Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      e10-10 (DIA) - e10-5 (GND) R - W-B Diagnosis (DLC3) Engine switch on (IG) Pulse generation
      e10-11 (FSR+) - e10-12 (FSR-) W - B Center airbag sensor communication line Engine switch on (IG) Pulse generation
      e10-12 (FSR-) - e10-5 (GND) B - W-B Center airbag sensor communication line (-) Always Below 1 Ω
      e10-13 (BSW) - e10-14 (BGND) W - Y Passenger side buckle switch line Engine switch on (IG) Low: 4 to 7 mA
      Hi: 12 to 18 mA
      e10-14 (BGND) - e10-5 (GND) Y - W-B Passenger side buckle switch ground line Always Below 1 Ω
      e10-15 (GPS) - e10-5 (GND) V - W-B Pressure sensor ground line Always Below 1 Ω
      e10-16 (BT) - e10-5 (GND) BR - W-B Belt tension sensor signal line Engine switch on (IG) Below 1 V
      e10-17 (VBT) - e10-5 (GND) G - W-B Belt tension sensor +B line Engine switch on (IG) 4.75 to 5.25 V

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.
