DTC C1A41: Brake Request Value Mismatch between ENG / EHV and Driving Support ECU [09/2014 - 10/2015]: Description

The skid control ECU receives brake control request signals from the ECM and driving support ECU.

When the request signals received from the ECM and driving support ECU are not consistent, the skid control ECU determines that a malfunction has occurred and sends a malfunction signal to the driving support ECU.

If the driving support ECU receives a malfunction signal, DTC C1A41 is output. Although the skid control ECU sends a malfunction signal to the driving support ECU, the ABS does not output a relevant malfunction detection DTC.

DTC Code DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
C1A41 While the engine switch is on (IG), the brake actuator (skid control ECU) detects a significant difference in the brake request signal from the ECM and driving support ECU for 3 seconds or more.
