DTC P0190: Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit; DTC P0192: Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Input; DTC P0193: Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit High Input [09/2014 - 11/2017]: Description
The fuel pressure sensor is installed on the delivery pipe. The fuel pressure sensor changes the fuel pressure into an electrical signal and sends the signal to the ECM. Then the ECM controls the pump discharge using this feedback to maintain the fuel's target pressure between 4 and 13 MPa (40.8 and 132.6 kgf/cm2 , 580 and 1886 psi). If the sensor output stops, the ECM will stop the fuel pump (for high pressure side) and supply fuel using the fuel pump (for low pressure side).
