  • 1 second or more elapses after turning the engine switch on (IG).

C1B01 Actuator Angle Neutral Memorization Undone Actuator neutral position memorization has not been performed. Comes on Perform actuator angle neutral position calibration. Refer to DTC C1B01: Actuator Angle Neutral Memorization Undone; DTC C1B02: Actuator Angle Neutral Memorization Incomplete [09/2020 - ]
C1B02 Actuator Angle Neutral Memorization Incomplete When neutral position memorization is performed, the actuator neutral position cannot be set. Comes on After clearing DTCs, perform actuator angle neutral position calibration. Refer to DTC C1B01: Actuator Angle Neutral Memorization Undone; DTC C1B02: Actuator Angle Neutral Memorization Incomplete [09/2020 - ]
C1B03 Actuator Angle Neutral Malfunction When neutral position memorization is performed, the actuator neutral position is deviated (the stroke sensor detects an angle that is not between 170° and 190°). C1B04 Motor Rotation Angle Sensor Calibration Undone Motor rotation angle sensor calibration has not been performed. Comes on Perform actuator angle neutral position calibration. Refer to DTC C1B04: Motor Rotation Angle Sensor Calibration Undone; DTC C1B05: Motor Rotation Angle Sensor Calibration Malfunction [09/2020 - ]
C1B05 Motor Rotation Angle Sensor Calibration Malfunction Resolver calibration was performed to compensate for differences in resolver hardware for the motor rotation angle sensor, but calibration did not complete successfully. Comes on Engine switch on (IG) again Refer to DTC C1B04: Motor Rotation Angle Sensor Calibration Undone; DTC C1B05: Motor Rotation Angle Sensor Calibration Malfunction [09/2020 - ]
C1B09 VGRS System Malfunction All conditions are met for approximately 1 second or more:
  • 5 seconds or more elapse after turning the engine switch on (IG).
  • The power source voltage is 10 to 16 V.
  • DRS ECU communication is normal.
  • A problem is detected with the VGRS ECU via CAN communication.

C1B0A VGRS Sending Message Malfunction All conditions are met for approximately 1.5 seconds or more:
  • The engine switch is on (IG).
  • The power source voltage is 10 to 16 V.
  • The target angles sent from the VGRS ECU via the local bus and sub bus do not match.
Comes on Engine switch on (IG) again Refer to DTC C1B0A: VGRS Sending Message Malfunction [09/2020 - ]
C1B11 Short in Motor Circuit Either condition is met:
  • After the engine switch is turned on (IG), a short in the motor circuit or an internal ECU (motor drive circuit) malfunction continues for 1.2 seconds or more before control starts.
  • After the engine switch is turned on (IG), a short in the motor circuit or an internal ECU (motor drive circuit) malfunction continues for 0.1 seconds or more.
Comes on Engine switch on (IG) again Refer to DTC C1B11: Short in Motor Circuit; DTC C1B12: Open in Motor Circuit [09/2020 - ]
C1B12 Open in Motor Circuit Either condition is met:
  • After the engine switch is turned on (IG), an open in the motor circuit or an internal ECU (motor drive circuit) malfunction continues for 1.2 seconds or more before control starts.
  • After the engine switch is turned on (IG), an open in the motor circuit or an internal ECU (motor drive circuit) malfunction continues for 0.2 seconds or more.

C1B13 Motor Rotation Angle Not Detected All conditions are met for approximately 0.2 seconds or more:
  • The engine switch is on (IG).
  • The power source voltage is 9 V or higher.
  • A problem with the motor rotation angle sensor is detected.

C1B14 Stroke Sensor Circuit All conditions are met for approximately 0.2 seconds or more:
  • The engine switch is on (IG).
  • The power source voltage is 9 V or higher.
  • A malfunction in the stroke sensor is detected.

C1B15 Motor Rotation Angle Malfunction After turning the engine switch on (IG), the motor does not operate according to the command from the ECU. Comes on Engine switch on (IG) again Refer to DTC C1B15: Motor Rotation Angle Malfunction [09/2020 - ]
C1B17 Motor Rotation Angle Mismatch (Stroke Sensor) After the engine switch is turned on (IG), the turning angle detected by the motor rotation angle sensor and the turning angle detected by the stroke sensor do no match. Comes on Engine switch on (IG) again Refer to DTC C1B17: Motor Rotation Angle Mismatch (Stroke Sensor) [09/2020 - ]
C1B18 Direct Advance Wheel Angle Standard Deviation Detect The straight-ahead steering angle does not match the one from the previous trip due to a deviation in the actuator neutral position. C1B21 ECU Malfunction (CPU) After the engine switch is turned on (IG), an internal problem with the ECU is detected. C1B22 ECU Malfunction (Internal Line) After the engine switch is turned on (IG), an internal problem with the ECU is detected. C1B24 Stroke Sensor (Actuator Angle Indeterminate) All conditions are met:
  • Immediately after turning the engine switch on (IG).
  • 0.5 seconds have elapsed with the power source voltage at 10 V or higher and control has not started.
  • A malfunction in the stroke sensor is detected.

C1B25 ECU Malfunction (Flash Memory) After the engine switch is turned on (IG), an internal problem with the ECU is detected. Comes on Engine switch on (IG) again Refer to DTC C1B21: ECU Malfunction (CPU); DTC C1B22: ECU Malfunction (Internal Line); DTC C1B23: ECU Malfunction (Substrate Temperature Sensor); DTC C1B25: ECU Malfunction (Flash Memory) [09/2020 - ]
C1B26 Motor Power Supply Voltage Circuit (ECU Start-up) All conditions are met for approximately 1.5 seconds or more:
  • The engine switch is on (IG).
  • Control has not started.
  • An open in the PIG circuit or an internal malfunction in the ECU is detected.
Comes on Engine switch on (IG) again Refer to DTC C1B26: Motor Power Supply Voltage Circuit (ECU Start-up); DTC C1B2A: Motor Power Supply Voltage Circuit [09/2020 - ]
C1B29 IG Power Supply Voltage Circuit All conditions are met for approximately 3 seconds or more:
  • The engine switch is on (IG).
  • When the IG voltage is 4 V or less or 18.5 V or higher, an open or short in the IG circuit or an internal malfunction in the ECU is detected.
Comes on Engine switch on (IG) again Refer to DTC C1B29: IG Power Supply Voltage Circuit [09/2020 - ]
C1B2A Motor Power Supply Voltage Circuit All conditions are met for approximately 2.4 seconds or more:
  • The engine switch is on (IG).
  • When the PIG voltage is 18.5 V or higher or 7 V or less, an open or short in the PIG circuit, or an internal malfunction in the ECU is detected.

U0100 Lost Communication with ECM/PCM "A" All conditions are met for approximately 3 seconds or more:
  • 1 second or more elapses after turning the engine switch on (IG).
  • The power source voltage is 10 to 16 V.
  • The signal from the ECM is lost.
Comes on Engine switch on (IG) again Refer to DTC U0100: Lost Communication with ECM/PCM "A"; DTC U0129: Lost Communication with Brake System Control Module; DTC U0130: Lost Communication with Steering Effort Control Module [09/2020 - ]
U0129 Lost Communication with Brake System Control Module All conditions are met for approximately 3 seconds or more:
  • 2 seconds or more elapse after turning the engine switch on (IG).
  • The power source voltage is 10 to 16 V.
  • The signal from the skid control ECU is lost.
Comes on Engine switch on (IG) again Refer to DTC U0100: Lost Communication with ECM/PCM "A"; DTC U0129: Lost Communication with Brake System Control Module; DTC U0130: Lost Communication with Steering Effort Control Module [09/2020 - ]
U0130 Lost Communication with Steering Effort Control Module All conditions are met for approximately 3 seconds or more:
  • 1 second or more elapses after turning the engine switch on (IG).
  • The power source voltage is 10 to 16 V.
  • The signal from the VGRS ECU is lost.
