DTC B2275: STSW Monitor Malfunction [07/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2015 - ]
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. After 25 seconds have elapsed, check for DTCs.

   OK

   DTC B2285 is not output.

Result:  NG

1. Disconnect the E31 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
2. Disconnect the E23 hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specification Condition
   E31-7(ST2) - E23-4(ST2)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   E31-7(ST2) or E23-4(ST2) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

Result:  NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

1. Reconnect the E31 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
2. Reconnect the E23 hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly connector.
3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specification Condition
   E31-7(ST2) - Body ground	With the brake pedal depressed, the power switch is pressed and held → After approx. 3 sec. has elapsed, the power switch is released	9 V higher → 1 V or less

Result:  OK
