Customize Parameters (07/2015 -): Procedure

  1. CUSTOMIZE POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM 

    HINT: 

    The following items can be customized.

    NOTE:
    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
    • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.
    • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.
    1. Customizing with the Techstream
      1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
      2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
      3. Turn the Techstream on.
      4. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Door Lock.
      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
        Display Default Content Setting Relevant ECU
        Unlock Key Twice ON Function that unlocks only the driver door when the driver door key cylinder is turned to unlock once, and unlocks all doors when it is turned to unlock twice. For the OFF setting, turning it once unlocks all doors. OFF or ON Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        Auto Lock ON*1
        OFF*2        		 Function that locks all doors when the vehicle speed reaches a certain level. OFF or ON Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        Auto Lock/Shift ON*2
        OFF*1        		 Function that locks all doors when the shift lever is moved out of P, with the engine switch on (IG) and all doors closed. OFF or ON Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        Auto Unlock/Shift ON Function that unlocks all doors when the shift lever is moved to P from any position other than P with the engine switch on (IG). OFF or ON Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        All Unlock/Open-Close OFF Function that unlocks the other doors when the driver door is opened within approximately 43 seconds after the engine switch is turned off. OFF or ON Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        • *1: w/o Side Marker Light
        • *2: w/ Side Marker Light
    2. Customizing with the Multi-display (w/ Navigation System or w/ Audio and Visual System (for Radio and Display Type)
      1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
      2. Enter the following menus: MENU / Setup / Vehicle / Vehicle Customization / Door Lock Settings.
      3. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
        Display Default Content Setting Relevant ECU
        Automatic Door Lock By Shift from P
        • By Shift from P: Function that locks all doors when the shift lever is moved out of P, with the engine switch on (IG) and all doors closed.
        • By Speed: Function that locks all doors when the vehicle speed reaches a certain level.
        		 By Speed, By Shift from P or Off Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        Automatic Door Unlock By Shift to P
        • By Driver Door: Function that unlocks the other doors when the driver door is opened within approximately 43 seconds after the engine switch is turned off.
        • By Shift to P: Function that unlocks all doors when the shift lever is moved to P from any position other than P with the engine switch on (IG).
        		 By Shift to P, By Driver Door or Off Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
    3. Customizing with the Multi-display (w/ Audio and Visual System (for Radio and Display Type with Digital Audio Broadcasting Function)
      1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
      2. Enter the following menus: MENU / Setup / Vehicle / Vehicle customization / Door lock settings.
      3. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
        Display Default Content Setting Relevant ECU
        Speed sensitive auto locking On Function that locks all doors when the vehicle speed reaches a certain level. On or Off Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        Auto lock by shift from P Off Function that locks all doors when the shift lever is moved out of P, with the engine switch on (IG) and all doors closed. On or Off Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        Auto unlock by shift to P On Function that unlocks all doors when the shift lever is moved to P from any position other than P with the engine switch on (IG). On or Off Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        Auto unlock by driver door Off Function that unlocks the other doors when the driver door is opened within approximately 43 seconds after the engine switch is turned off. On or Off Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
