How To Proceed With Troubleshooting [09/2014 - 10/2015]: Procedure

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

  2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 

    Standard Voltage

    11 to 14 V

    If the voltage is below 11 V, replace or recharge the battery before proceeding.

  3. CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
    1. Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

  4. CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
    1. Use the Techstream to check if the LIN communication system is functioning normally.

  5. CHECK FOR DTC* 
    1. Check for DTC (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).
    2. Clear the DTC (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).
    3. Recheck for DTC (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).

  6. PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE 
    1. Refer to the problem symptoms table (Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).

  7. OVERALL ANALYSIS AND TROUBLESHOOTING* 
    1. Operation Check (Refer to OPERATION CHECK [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).
    2. Terminals of ECU (Refer to TERMINALS OF ECU [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).
    3. Data List / Active Test (Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).

  8. ADJUST, REPAIR OR REPLACE 
    NOTE:
    • If the driving support ECU has been replaced, turn the engine switch off → on (IG) for 10 seconds → off to perform the initialization.
    • When the millimeter wave radar sensor is replaced with a new one, adjustment of the radar sensor beam axis must be performed (Refer to ADJUSTMENT [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).
    • If the driving support ECU is replaced, initialization needs to be performed (Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).
