Front Passenger Side Power Window Auto Up / Down Function does not Operate with Front Passenger Side Power Window Switch [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. Use the Data List to check if the front power window regulator RH is functioning properly (Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [10/2015 - ] ).

1. Initialize the front power window regulator motor assembly RH (Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2014 - ] ).
2. Check that the front door power window RH moves when the auto up and down functions of the front power window regulator switch assembly RH are operated (Refer to OPERATION CHECK [10/2015 - ] ).

   OK

   Front passenger side auto up and down functions are normal.

Result:  OK

OK 

END (POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM HAS NOT BEEN INITIALIZED) 

Result:  NG

REPLACE FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH 

(Refer to REMOVAL [10/2015 - ] )

1. Remove the front power window regulator switch RH (Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - ] ).

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   4 (AUTO) - 5 (GND)	Auto up/down operation	Below 1 Ω
   4 (AUTO) - 5 (GND)	Not operated	10 kΩ or higher

Result:  NG

NG 

REPLACE FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH 

(Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - ] )

Result:  OK

1. Disconnect the Q9 front power window regulator switch RH connector.
2. Disconnect the Q2 front power window regulator motor RH connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   Q9-4 (AUTO) - Q2-4 (AUTO)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   Q9-5 (GND) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω
   Q9-4 (AUTO) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
