How To Proceed With Troubleshooting [08/2015 - 08/2019]: Procedure

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

  2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 

    Standard Voltage

    11 to 14 V

    If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

  3. CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
    1. Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

      CAN DTC is output B

    Result: 

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION. Refer to  DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [08/2015 - 08/2019]

  4. CHECK FOR DTC* 
    1. Check for DTC (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2015 - 08/2019] ).
    2. Clear the DTC (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2015 - 08/2019] ).
    3. Recheck for DTCs. Based on the DTCs output in the first step, try to force output of the dynamic radar cruise control system DTCs by simulating the conditions indicated by the DTCs.

  6. OVERALL ANALYSIS AND TROUBLESHOOTING* 
    1. Operation Check (Refer to OPERATION CHECK [08/2015 - 08/2019] ).
    2. Terminals of ECU (Refer to TERMINALS OF ECU [08/2015 - 08/2019] ).
    3. Data List / Active Test (Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [08/2015 - 08/2019] ).

  7. ADJUST, REPAIR OR REPLACE 
    NOTE:
    • When the driving support ECU or ECM is replaced with a new one, initialization must be performed (Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2015 - 08/2019] ).
    • When the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly is replaced with a new one, adjustment of the radar sensor beam axis must be performed (Refer to ADJUSTMENT [08/2015 - 08/2019] ).
