- CHECK DTC OUTPUT*
- Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output.
- Clear the DTCs.
- Recheck for DTCs. Try to prompt the DTC by simulating the original activity that the DTC suggests.

NOTE:The parking assist ECU may store the DTCs of the following system. If DTCs other than those specified in Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart of the side monitor system are output, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart for the applicable system.
