When the engine switch is on (IG), if the output resistance of the fuel sender gauge resistance value sent from the combination meter assembly via CAN communication indicates the resistance is less than 7 Ω or higher than 480 Ω for 30 seconds or more, the ECM will illuminate the MIL and store this DTC.
