Disassembly [08/2019 - 08/2022]: Procedure

REMOVE STEERING LOCK ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Steering Lock Actuator Assembly)

Secure the steering column assembly in a vise between aluminum plates and cloths.
NOTE:
Do not overtighten the vise.
Using a drill, drill a hole in the steering lock set bolt and insert a screw extractor.

Using the screw extractor, remove the 2 steering lock set bolts and steering lock actuator or upper bracket assembly.

REMOVE MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU

Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU.
