  2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS

  3. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 
    1. Measure the battery voltage.

      Standard Voltage

      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, replace or recharge the battery before proceeding to the next step.

  4. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
    1. Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

      Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [09/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [11/2021 - 10/2023] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2023 - ]

  5. CHECK FOR DTC AND FREEZE FRAME DATA* 
    1. Refer to DTC Check / Clear for the blind spot monitor system.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2020 - ] 

      Body Electrical > Blind Spot Monitor Master > Trouble Codes 

      Body Electrical > Blind Spot Monitor Slave > Trouble Codes 

    2. Record or print DTCs and freeze frame data, if necessary.

      Refer to FREEZE FRAME DATA [09/2020 - ]
