DTC B2788: IG2 Signal Malfunction [04/2013 - 09/2022]: Procedure
- INSPECT STEERING LOCK ECU (STEERING LOCK ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY) (POWER SOURCE MODE SIGNAL)
- Make sure that there is no looseness at the locking part and the connecting part of the connector.
- Disconnect the K28 steering lock ECU (steering lock actuator assembly) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition K28-1 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω - Reconnect the K28 steering lock ECU (steering lock actuator assembly) connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition K28-6 (IG2) - K28-1 (GND) Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V K28-6 (IG2) - K28-1 (GND) Engine switch off Below 1 V Result
