How To Proceed With Troubleshooting [10/2016 - ]: Procedure

  2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS AND SYMPTOM CHECK

  3. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 
    1. Measure the battery voltage.

      Standard Voltage

      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding to the next step.

  4. INSPECT CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
    1. Use the Techstream, check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

      Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2016 - 10/2017] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [09/2018 - 09/2020] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [09/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [11/2021 - 10/2023] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2023 - ]

      CAN communication system DTCs are not output A
      CAN communication system DTCs are output B

  5. CHECK FOR DTC* 
    1. Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2016 - ] 

      Body Electrical > ASC > Trouble Codes 

    2. Clear the DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2016 - ] 

      Body Electrical > ASC > Clear DTCs 

    3. Recheck for DTCs. Try to reproduce the ASC system DTCs by duplicating the conditions indicated by the DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2016 - ] 

      Body Electrical > ASC > Trouble Codes
