Diagnosis System [04/2013 - 10/2016]

  1. DESCRIPTION 
    1. Automatic headlight beam level control system data and Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) can be read from the Data Link Connector 3 (DLC3) of the vehicle. When the system seems to be malfunctioning, use the Techstream to check for malfunctions and to repair it.
  2. CHECK DLC3 
    1. Check the DLC3.

      Refer to GENERAL INFORMATION [04/2013 - ]

  3. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 
    1. Measure the battery voltage.

      Standard Voltage

      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery.

  4. DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM 
    1. When the automatic headlight beam level control system malfunctions, the headlight leveling warning light illuminates and "Check Headlight System" is displayed on the multi-information display.

      HINT: 

      When the system returns to normal, the headlight leveling warning light turns off and "Check Headlight System" is no longer displayed on the multi-information display.
