Installation [04/2013 - 10/2017]: Procedure
- INSTALL INJECTOR DRIVER NOTE:
- Be careful not to drop or strike the injector driver.
- The injector driver is grounded at the bolt and nut. To ensure that it is grounded, clean the installation surfaces of the injector driver and engine before installing the injector driver.
- Install the injector driver to the timing chain cover sub-assembly with the bolt and 2 nuts.
Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)
- Connect the injector driver connector.
*a Lock Lever - Connect the 3 connectors (with lock) to the injector driver and move each lock lever as shown in the illustration to engage the lock.NOTE:
Securely connect the connectors (with lock) to the injector driver and engage the lock levers.
- INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER
- Install the No. 1 engine cover to the timing chain cover sub-assembly with the 3 clips.
- INSTALL INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER

- INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 105 [04/2013 - 08/2015] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 106 [08/2015 - 10/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 106 [10/2016 - 10/2017]
- INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [04/2013 - 10/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [10/2016 - 09/2020]
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
