Installation [04/2013 - 08/2015]: Procedure

HINT: 

Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing a heated oxygen sensor.

Refer to INITIALIZATION [04/2013 - 08/2015]

1. for Bank 2 (for 2WD):
   1. Using SST, install the heated oxygen sensor to the front exhaust pipe assembly.
      • SST: 09224-00010 

      without SST [Torque (N.m (kgf/cm, ft.lbf))] 

      Torque: 44 N.m (449 kgf/cm, 32 ft.lbf) 

      with SST [Reading of Torque wrench (N.m (kgf/cm, ft.lbf))] 

      Torque: 39 N.m (398 kgf/cm, 29 ft.lbf) 

      NOTE:

      If a heated oxygen sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      HINT: 

      • This torque value is effective when SST is parallel to the torque wrench.
      • The "with SST" torque value is effective when using SST with a fulcrum length of 30 mm (1.18 in.).
      • The "with SST" torque value is effective when using a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 260 mm (10.2 in.).
      • If using a torque wrench with a different length, or connecting the torque wrench and SST at an angle, refer to the alternate torque values.

   2. Install the heated oxygen sensor grommet to the body.
2. for Bank 2 (for AWD with Front Floor Cover LH):
   1. Using SST, install the heated oxygen sensor to the front exhaust pipe assembly.

      *a	Length of SST 30 mm (1.18 in.)
      *b	Length of Torque Wrench 260 mm (10.2 in.)

   2. Install the 2 clamps to the body.
   3. Install the heated oxygen sensor grommet to the body.
   4. Install the front floor cover LH with the 6 clips.
3. for Bank 2 (for AWD without Front Floor Cover LH):
   1. Using SST, install the heated oxygen sensor to the front exhaust pipe assembly.

   2. Install the 3 clamps to the body.
   3. Install the heated oxygen sensor grommet to the body.
4. for Bank 1:
   1. Using SST, install the heated oxygen sensor to the front exhaust pipe assembly.
      • SST: 09224-00010 

      without SST [Torque (N.m (kgf/cm, ft.lbf))] 

      Torque: 44 N.m (449 kgf/cm, 32 ft.lbf)

   2. Install the heated oxygen sensor grommet to the body.

1. for Bank 2:
   1. w/ Clamp:
      1. Connect the clamp.
   2. Connect the heated oxygen sensor connector.
   3. Install the floor carpet.
2. for Bank 1:
   1. w/ Clamp:
      1. Connect the clamp.
   2. Connect the heated oxygen sensor connector.
   3. Install the floor carpet.
